ATV & Snowmobiling

Dryden is an ATV rider’s paradise, thanks to the abundance of gravel roads and back-country routes that surround the community. These roads don’t just add variety to your ride, they open up access to hundreds of kilometers of wilderness, lakes, and scenic viewpoints that would otherwise be out of reach. For riders, that means more freedom, more exploration, and the ability to connect seamlessly between established trails, fishing spots, and hidden corners of the boreal forest. The extensive network of gravel back-roads around Dryden ensures every adventure can be customized, whether you’re after a long-distance ride, a quick loop, or a multi-day journey through Northwestern Ontario’s rugged landscape.

For a virtual preview of Dryden’s rugged backcountry, check out YouTuber CubbeeZX.

Dryden offers year-round trail adventure! When the snow flies, explore scenic snowmobile trails through forests, lakes, and hills, maintained by the Dryden Power Toboggan Club and part of the OFSC network.

Curling

Join the fun at Dryden’s Arena #2 on Sunday nights (seasonally) with the Sunday Night Curling League, which
offers games at two different times. For details, contact Trevor Szmon at (807) 216-6950. Seniors Curling runs Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to noon—no registration needed, just pay as you play.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Just north of Dryden, the Dryden Ski Club offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country trails for all
skill levels. Recent upgrades include the Jackrabbit and Gannon terrain parks, featuring new boxes, rails, and
jumps. The cross-country network has expanded with 6 km of additional trails, offering more challenging terrain. Night skiing has also improved with upgraded lighting, and chalet enhancements create a more comfortable après-ski experience. Whether you’re hitting the slopes or the trails, DSC is a must-visit winter destination.
