Journey to the Top
Dryden Fall Fest began in 2020 with the simple mission to create free local events that celebrate Dryden, promote tourism and are accessible to everyone. The vision was clear: to transform Dryden's outdoor green space into hubs of activity for the community to enjoy, offering experiences that showcase the best of fall in the area. Thanks to the dedication of the committee, countless volunteers, sponsors and participants, Dryden Fall Fest has exceeded expectations year after year, quickly becoming a standout festival in the region.
The festival's core philosophy is to ensure inclusivity and accessibility. This is reflected in its free to attend events that cater to all ages and abilities. The festival offers a range of activities that appeal to all interests, from history buffs and live entertainment enthusiasts to thrill-seekers and families with young children. But it’s not just about the residents—it’s about fostering tourism and drawing people from neighbouring towns and even further, making Dryden a hub for fall activities in Ontario

A Festival that Supports Local and Draws Visitors
One of the most remarkable things about Dryden Fall Fest is how it brings the community together while also contributing to the local economy. By attracting tourists from surrounding areas, the festival provides a boost to local businesses, hotels, and restaurants in a shoulder season. In 2024 alone Dryden Fall Fest had approximately 7,500 attendees across all events, with participants traveling from across Ontario and beyond.
Dryden Fall Fest is not just a celebration of the season—it’s a celebration of Dryden itself. The festival’s focus on outdoor green spaces, such as Laura Howe Marsh, the downtown core, and the Dryden Cemetery, highlights the town’s natural beauty, providing a perfect backdrop for all the events. With each passing year, the festival’s presence continues to expand, inspiring organizations in surrounding municipalities to start their own community events and collaboration.
